Geeks are geeks. I just purchased a new webserver (sweeet) and installed DNN on it. So now I have two DNN servers (both 4.4.1 at the moment). I would like to relocate some of my sites, and scrap the old server. What is the best procedure to move sites and portals between servers?

First of all I want to move the default root portal of my first DNN server to the new server which allready has a root portal that I wish to keep. They are both "Portal0" sites. How do I move my first portal to the new server?

Second I have a child portal on the old server, which I want to move to the new server. I dont want to keep it as a child portal after I moove it, since the portal it was spawned under is obsolete.

How do I turn a child portal into a stand-alone portal on the new server?

Thanks for your great insight on DNN.

:-)
