How do I create a banner?

Hi all, Can anyone please tell me how to go about creating a banner. I have added the banner module to a pane on my page and also filled in the banner options but I can't see anything on the page. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Just trying to make it much clearer. Whe I go to Host --- Vendors I don't know how to add a new banner because I don't see any link to do that. Can someone please help me?

After you add a vendor, go back to the vendors list and then click on the edit icon for that vendor. After you come back to the vendor from the vendor list you should see additional section for Banner Advertising, and Affiliate settings.

Hi John, Thanks a lot, that was really helpful. The other problem i've got now is that it says "You don't have permission to see the files on the site" so I can't upload a logo to it. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

I believe that is a bug in DNN. I don't use the banner management in DNN very often, but I have been able to clear that up once before by going to the File Manager, and setting the security to allow all users view permission on the root portal folder.
