Hi all,

I'm having a problem that, when I click the login link, the tab title in IE7 reads "Object moved" and the page times out. I just noticed this on my new laptop -- first computer I've had with Vista. Works fine in Firefox, just not IE7 (which most of the world uses, of course...).

I have made a custom login page, put a login module on that page, set the page to SSL, and told DNN 4.5.5 that this is the login page in the site settings. It's been this way for about 6 months now... This is the first time I've noticed a problem with it. We have a VPS server and a dedicated IP with an SSL cert.

Has anyone seen this before? Or know of a way to fix it? The site is evmservices.com.

Don't want other visitors to have the same problem...
Thanks,
Ari

Hi Ari,

The "Object Moved" page is because of DNN redirecting to the SSL port, which is happening for all browsers and OS's.

I just went and checked with IE7 on Vista and it worked properly for me, so I think there must be some setting on your specific browser that is keeping the redirect from happening.
