Hi John Re: Dnn: 4.5.5 I am having difficulty creating a child portal, - after correctly completing details and click "Create Portal" nothing happens and I get the following error message: Error creating Profile Definitions No related errors are shown in the site "Log Viewer". Could this be related to a site permission problem, as I am still unable to view Site Log details even though it is configured to 30 days? I would be grateful for any advice or suggestions of what I should edit or how I might fix this issue. Thanks Lynn

Hi John I have located an error message see below: Error: Site Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings.GetSiteSettings(Int32 PortalId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.SiteSettings.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- The above message is only shown in host/portals and by clicking on the edit icon of the empty child site I am trying to create.
