I'd like to put the logged in user's name into my skin: Something like "Welcome, Joe Craig" Can I do this inside of a Text/HTML module (if so, how do I get the user's name) or would I need to do this similarly to the way you discussed adding admin only content to a page?

No, you can't do it directly in an HTML module, you have to put it in a file where the code can be executed (.ascx or .aspx). However, if you are using PageBlaster for DNN then you could put [RE:DNN.UserInfo.DisplayName] in your HTML module (or anywhere in the page) and it would be replaced with the user's display name.

John, Do you have some general idea as to the effect of PageBlaster on the speed of a 4.5.1 installation?

I have measured increases in Requests Per Second delivered of 600%-1000% using Load Testing on my local machine.
