You need to also add it to your ascx file - The challenges with creating the advanced menus is that you required code inline and in css. I've started to extend the actual references and examples on skincovered. You can read more about it here - http://www.skincovered.com/ascx-skinning.aspx But in a nutshell you need to put a reference in the ascx file as well as the CSS file and you need to tell the ascx file which Solpart reference will be defined by which class. Give that a try - I also think my DesignAway skin has got some references in the ascx file for you to refer to. It's not just about putting the code into the CSS file.
