I am trying to integrate a payment processor into DNN.

The information their script needs is:

DB_NAME         = "" ' database name
DB_USERNAME     = "" ' database username
DB_PASSWORD     = "" ' database password
DB_TBL_NAME     = "" ' table name containing users/passes
DB_USER_FIELD   = "" ' field name for users
DB_PASS_FIELD   = "" ' field name for passes

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this script running on your server?
If so, why would it need access to the user's password?

If they will be sending you information after a payment is made so that you can give access to your users then what you need to do is update the subscription role for that user.

If you look in the DNN files you will see the subscription processing for Paypal in the admin/sales folder.
You can use the IPN files in there for a guideline.

I have not implemented it yet. It is because the form for signing up for premium membership requests this info on the signup page.

I did not want the subscription to be manual. I wanted it to be automatic.

That sounds very strange. Maybe they are asking for the information so they can generate a script for you to run on your website, but if it were me I would not give them login and user information to my database.

Actually, I just got off the phone with them.

It seems as if we have to create our own script that can translate variables or something or other.

I've worked with them in the past. They are actually a large company and one I was very familiar with. It's just that I used to have html websites and nothing dynamic like DNN so this is all very new to me.

Are the IPN files something we can change to work with this processor?

You're going to need a developer to integrate their process into your DNN website.

Did you check into the subscription tools at Ventrian?
You may want to ask Scott for a quote on doing the integration for you.
