From the default DNN installation I kept the Sponsors module on the right pane. I removed all but one of the buttons. Then I created one vendor (the only one so far) and subsequently added a banner to that vendor account. So far so good, I can see that in the control panel for the vendor. Now I want the vendor's button that was added to that account, to display the button on the sponsor module on the right pane. I see that the only button left there has some DNN banner link with a banner number and vendor number if I remember correctly. But on the VEndor configuration there is absolutely no way to generate a link that one can paste anywhere else for use. In this case to paste it on the Sponsor's module. How on earth does one display these banners/buttons without poking into the database to see what ids have been used for the vendor and banner? I am not using the Site/Host banner mode because that screws up the layout as it tries to put a horizontal banner next to the large logo at the top of the page (don't want a banner there). So for now only the sponsor buttons but as I said, there is no way to get that done. |
