Can't access host/admin menus through my skin anymore

I've just upgraded to DNN 4.5, and I'm using my same skins that I've used in my old DNN. When I wanted to access the host or admin menus (to access host -> vendors, or skins, for example) with my old DNN I would simply click on "site settings", and then at the bottom of the page the admin and host hover menus would appear, along with all my other pages for me to navigate to while signed in. However, I can no longer see any of these items anywhere when I'm in "site settings" anymore. The only way for me to access the host settings page is if I add a new page and use the default DNN skin, then the admin and host menus appear and I can hover over them. Any suggestions? It's kind of difficult to explain. Thanks!

This sounds like a problem that some other users are reporting with the links module. I'm thinking it will be fixed in the next version but you may want to just add my free simple NavList to your skin instead. http://www.snapsis.com/OnlineStore/BrowseProducts/tabid/589/List/1/ProductID/11/Default.aspx

Thanks! I will check out that module for sure. But there's no way I can navigate to the host or admin hover menus through the site settings page as I used to? Or as the default DNN skin allows you to? If not, how can I add a link to the Vendors page to the module that you are suggesting for me?

OK I am an idiot lol, I somehow lost my adminskin.ascx file while ugrading DNN which is why this isn't working, I have to build it all over again.

are you using custom skin? Are you using localized version of dnn, for example Admin is localized to Yonetim in my language and some navigation menus requires ASCII numerical codes to be entered to view that item.
