John,

...still trying to find the entry that keeps triggering pages of this error (though I uninstalled the damn Sixxac menu and the clinger-on'ers):

EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
Body:
Sender:
BusinessControllerClass: YourCompany.Modules.SixxacMenu.SixxacMenuController
DesktopModuleId: 75
UpgradeVersionsList: 01.01.00
ExceptionMessage: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: type

Is there any way to search the tables and find the nasty remnant triggering this?

You can safely delete records in the EventQueue table, or you may just want to set the isComplete flag on each record to 1

Go to Host > SQL and run this code:

Update EventQueue Set isComplete=1

Thanks, John. Good to know; I'll give it a try, as I found a lot of DNN affiliate stuff in there that is taking up room:

I'm 90% there, John.  Posted this over in the DNN forums, too, but the forum module forum is not very responsive as of late...

ONLY errors I am getting now are from the forum module, which started after the change (spurious?):

I am not sure if this is a best practice, but would installing the current upgrade over the top of the current module cause me to lose all the groups I have created and posts? ...other than that, I am clueless on this one, too...

I stopped using the core forum module a long time ago, so I don't have much experience there.

The best advice I can give you is to make a backup and try the upgrade. If you loose the data then you can restore the backup. The upgrade *should* work without loosing anything, and I believe that is one of the main reasons that the current forums module in the release tracker has not made it to public release yet.
