Well, I ended up re-doing the site from scratch. I was able to get the old site running by adding the old IP address in the NIC config and pointing a website instance to it and the old directory. I was able to copy and paste the HTML source and pages from the old site to the new site manually, but there was something still referencing the old IP address even after changing the web.config file. Since I really don't need immediate help with this, it's not imperative that I get an answer now, but it would be good to know for future reference. I will definitely be purchasing the utility I saw that backs up a DotNetNuke site so it can be transferred. That would have saved a lot of work. |
