How to rename DNN URLs

Hi all, we are redirecting an existing domain name to our DNN website which works perfectly well. The issue we've got is even when you navigate from one page to another on the DNN site (after been redirected from the other domain), the URL remains static. For example www.john.com redirects to www.paul.com but when you land on www.paul.com the url still shows www.john.com and we don't want this. What we really want is for the URL to change to www.john.com/Comparison/tabid/96/Default.aspx. Can anyone tell me how to get this done? I hope my explanation is clear enough? please let me know if it is not and I will explain further. Thanks

I'm not sure how you are doing your re-direct. If you are doing some kind of Url forwarding or masking from your ISP then this result may be how it works. You may just need to make sure you have both Portal Aliases assigned to the portal you are using.

Login as Host, then got to Admin > Site Settings, and at the bottom of the page is a place to assigne Http Aliases (Portal Alias). You can assign multiple aliases to one portal.
