I'm working on XHTML 1.0 compliance in a skin, and am close ... one of the errors is that there is a div tag nested inside a span. I seem to have a memory that this is something in the Text/HTML module which requires some source mod, but haven't been able to find anything on it.

Also, I've got Active Forums and it throws a lot of errors with cellPadding and cellSpacing etc for the tables. That's easy enough to fix - but I was wondering if you use a non-table-based template for AF?

Right, the span in the html module comes from the Edit-In-Place function. I changed the html module to remove the span, but I think now you can just turn off the edit in place in the Admin>Site Settings.

I haven't tried to make ActiveForums XHTML compliant.
