IIS configuration for best DNN performance?

Hi,

I currently own a VPS account at EasyCGI. Can you advise me how to configure IIS (6) to have the best performance for my DNN portal? My DNN version is 4.6.2; PageBlaster installed; Performance settings have been set as suggested; Will be used to run multiple portals.

I'd be very interested in what people have to say about this one as well...

So far, I've just set IIS to only recycle every morning at 2AM. (got rid of default after 20 minutes idle, no recycle on high memory, etc...)

I have host-tracker, montastic, and MrAlert requesting pages from my site every 30 minutes (so, hopefully an average of every 10 minutes between the 3 of them?). They are requesting the keepalive.aspx, default.aspx, the CataLOOK store, and the login page (which is SSL, so is it cached by PB?). (these services are $free)

As for DNN, I set the default module cache to 3600 seconds. Page State Persistence is Page; Module Caching Method is Memory; Performance Setting is Heavy Caching; Authenticated Cachability is Public; Compression is Off (b/c of PageBlaster); Whitespace Filter is disabled.

What are other people doing for performance?

I think Ari covered everything that I do for performance in his post, except I do not auto-recycle the app pool, but doing it once a day should not hurt.

What about HTTP compression? Will turning it on help much?
