Hi all, Are there things that should be done regularly (or at any time) to maintain a DNN site so it is in tip-top condition? Or do Win Server and DNN handle this automatically? What are the best practices for maintaining a DNN site? (In my case, I have Server 2003, SQL 2005 and DNN 4.5.5 on a VPS hosting account.) - Do I need to do anything with any of the log files (like delete old ones)?
- Do I need to do anything with the database? Isn't there something that cleans it up -- kind of like the "compact and repair" in MS Access?
- Are there things that should be done with the server?
- Are there things that should be done from within DNN?
- Or anything I'm leaving out?
Thanks, Ari |
