My site is currently setup to accept either the 'username' or 'email address' when someone clicks the 'forgot password' link.  This causes it's own set of issues.

Question: can I enable ONLY the 'email address' when someone clicks forgot password.

Thanks

Steve

To do this you could change the core input form so that it only allowed e-mail addresess to be used.

It would be something that you change in the core "code", so you would have to make the change again when you upgraded.
What you would do is set a validation routing like the one that is on the registration form.
In fact you could copy the e-mail validation regex from the registration form to do this.

I don't have time to look for the details right now, but let me know if you can't find it.
