One of my employees purchased a template from your site, but seems to be having trouble getting it installed in DotNetNuke. It doesn't appear to be a standard DotNetNuke template. Did we get an incomplete zip file, or are there some special instructions required on how to install this?

Could you give us some instructions?

The templates under the Templates tab on this site are not DotNetNuke Skins.  To work with DotNetNuke the template will have to be customized.

I recommend Nina at:
http://xd.com.au

Or Salar at
http://www.salaro.com/

Or Steve at:
http://perceptivewebs.com

We'll we wanting a refund, then. I expected that the templates would have to be customized (that is to say, have my own custom logo added, etc.) but I fully expected that a template sold on a site called "DotNetNuke Skins" would be a DotNetNuke Skin.

You really ought to explain this more clearly on your site.

How do I go about getting the refund?

The templates are made available from an online templates site (templatemonster.com) as an alternative to designing your DotNetNuke Skins from scratch.  These templates are high quality web designs and well worth the money, they just need some customization to work as a DotNetNuke Skin.

This site only offers the templates as an affiliate.  You should have received an order confirmation e-mail.  A refund will have to be requested from the merchant that you actually purchased the templates from.

I'll request the refund from the merchant.

I must have been confused by the following text on your website:

"The '100% Satisfaction Guaranteed' button means that http://www.DotNetNukeSkins.com guarantees the product you're purchasing. We want you to be pleased with your purchase from us. We have a 100 percent customer satisfaction guarantee for template purchases to ensure that you are completely satisfied that the final product you buy is exactly as described in your contract, and that it will not be defective.

http://www.DotNetNukeSkins.com provides the following satisfaction guaranteed products and services:

Widest selection - over 6500+ items to choose from
Instant access - all our products are available for immediate download
Uncompromising support - 24/7 phone, ticket system and online chat assistance
Shared knowledgebase - Online Help Center and free animated tutorials
Competent staff - 100+ people working for you (our own musicians, 3D artists, 30+ designers, technicians, support representatives, etc.)

Our 100% satisfaction guarantee is about more than refunds; it is about a promise to deliver total satisfaction. We believe that products should come with free, long term support, and this support is part of our company ethos. "

Thanks for pointing that out.  That text is controlled by TemplateMonster, and I have to admit I didn't know they were using the site name, but they are a reputable company and I'm sure they'll stand behind those words.

Sorry for the confusion.
