I'm not sure what you have used for the search part and the replace part of the rules, but if you let me know what you are trying to accomplish I may be able to suggest a better way.

If you just want to remove the tabid from the Url you can do that in the web.config file with a setting on the Friendly UrlWriter called urlFormat="HumanFriendly"
