Using Version 3.4.3, I add PageBlaster to the page and go to configure and virtual paths and try and add a static path but when I save I get the message:
"Virtual path already exists.Error creating static File: Configuration saved successfully."

How can I remove a vitual path that was entered with a "/name.aspx" string so I can create a static path?

Thanks,
Frank

BTW, when I try to search on this forum, it times out and I get the error below:

Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

Hi Frank,
You can edit the ResourceLocationTable.config file directly, it is located in DesktopModules/Snapsis/PageBlaster/Config.

First, I opened the ResourceLocationTable.config and deleted all of the entries. Then in an attempt to create a static page for the "Children" page, I entered "/default.htm" and checked the "static" box. I guess I should have entered a folder name before the /default.htm as in "/Children/default.htm" as now when you try and go to the site's Home page, you are redirected to the "Children" page.

In addition to removing all entries from the ResourceLocationTable.config, I also deleted the cache and restarted the application. The Home page still points to the Children page.

I went further and in the Cache directory, I found the tabid of the page (54) and deleted all of the entries there as well to no avail.

What did I do wrong and how can I get the Home page to be the default page? This is urgent so thanks for a prompt reply.

The URL in question is: http://www.fbcwilmington.org

Your IIS settings are allowing the default.htm page to override the default.aspx page which is normal.

Look in the root of your website for the default.htm page and delete it.

PageBlaster saves the current page as a static file with the path and name you choose, so yes, you should put child pages in their own folder if you want the folder name to be used on the Url without a page extension.
