The hypBannerImage its outside the hypbanner tag, so the banner link does not work on all skins. on DNNdefault it is totally messed up. This is related to this post

In addition, if you have more than one portal alias the site logo hyperlink tries to render all of the aliases into the link. portal aliases: localhost/dnn/whacko www.whacko.com whacko.com With this the href for the logo looks something like href="http://localhost/dnn/whacko www.wacho.com whacko.com" I guess the resolved alias should be the one in the href.
