I just installed the latest version + patch on a new installation of DNN 2.1.2 and the tab admin menu is buried into the left side of the screen.

How do I explain that a little better......

If you look at the tab admin menu, the menu window appears to be open, but positioned almost all the way off the screen. You can see a small amount of the down arrow that is part of the drop-down used to select a module, but not enough of it is visible to actually select anything. I also can't move the window, so I basically have to select "no skin" in order to add a module to my site, and then select the skin I want again when I am done with setup tasks.

This isn't a problem yet because the site isn't live, but when it is, it won't work very well to have the skin changing back and forth.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Reed,

With version 2.5.3 you shouldn't have to install a patch, and it is supposed to take care of the AdminMenu / Modules drop-down List width problem.

To fix it manually you can use the CSS Editor to change the width of the AdminMenuContainer, AdminMenuInnerContainer, and AdminMenuIFrame classes to something like 400px.

Had the same problem with modules extending outside of the admin container. Adjusting CSS to 400px fixed problem.
