I'm getting an error after applying a skin to my site, default works fine as well as the DNN skin, everything else throws this error at line 68 of default.aspx....

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object expected

document.formsΎ].onload = snapsis_onLoad();snapsis_onLoadAdmin();

Any quick fixes I should know about?

thanks

Sounds like you either do not have the Javascript files or maybe you have an older version.

You can get the latest patch by clicking this link:

I was fairly certain that I was running the current latest version.
I downloaded from the link and reapplied those files, and still get the same error.
Any other suggestions?

Hmm.. Could it be that you had the CSS Editor installed first and then installed the CSS Skins package that has the CSS Editor imbedded?

If not that, could you tell me the dates on the SnapsisDNN/Skins/Admin.js & SnapsisDNN/Skins/Utils.js files?

You can also send your skin to CSSSkins [ @ ] Snapsis.com and I'll try debugging.

Well, I took a look at my files and nope...no Admin.js or Util.js are in the folders you specified. So, I look at the .zip files I have for 2.5, and the patches and they don't seem to be in there either? So, where can I get them?

The skins I was getting the error with are the ones that came with 2.5.0.

I gave you the wrong directory, it's actually

/dnnroot/DesktopModules/SnapsisDNN/Admin.js and

/dnnroot/DesktopModules/SnapsisDNN/Utils.js

You can get them all here. Just unzip the folder to your root DNN folder with the “Use Folders” option.

I have seen where some people's mail server has stripped the .JS files from the Zip file, so that may be why you don't see them in your package.

Thanks a lot John, that did the trick.
There is a good chance our Anti-virus software stripped them out. It has randomly done it with .exe files in zip files as well. Now I'll just takes those files put them in my foldrs and zip it up to have a real full install.

Now to go hunt the other forums and figure out how to customize everything. ;)
