Note: There is supposed to be code pasted in below but it doesnt appear to show up in the actual post.. go figure.

Hi there,

I've just bought CSS Skins 3 and have installed it. I tried one of the supplied skins and that seems to work fine.

I then downloaded the ascx file and replaced the first line of a skin:
<%@ Control language="vb" CodeBehind="~/admin/Skins/skin.vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True" Inherits="DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin" %>

With the proper line of code from the pdf:
<%@ Control language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True"
Inherits="Snapsis.DNN.Skins.Skin" %>

Uploaded that overwriting the ascx file on the server. REopened a browser, logged in and voila.. no menus.

I can't really see what coule be causing them to vanish.. unless it is the fact that I have a Flash header graphic on the page and the IE control thingies won't display over that?

Any ideas?

Rob

Ok, it looks to me as if a Flash overlays the two control menu things.

There may be a workaround using layers and Z-values perhaps, but for the moment I've just had to make some space ahead ofthe Falsh header.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for purchasing CSS Skins.  Increasing the z-index would have been what I would have suggested, but it looks like you beat me to it. So you want the menu to show up on top of the Flash right?  That would be cool, and I can't say I have or heard of anyone else doing it yet.  Let me know if there is a link you want to show off when you're ready.
