Problem Installing PageBlaster

Hi John I am having a problem installing PageBlaster 3.01.06 I have followed instructions according to the SnapsisPageBlaster ReadMeFirst .txt file Module installed without problem - However, I am unable to insert licence number all I see is a blank container. Below is the associated error log file: PageBlaster-DNNModuleControl: (TRUNCATED TO 500 CHARS): Could not find a part of the path 'E:\**\\***\HTTP\portals\_default\Cache\LocalStrings\PageBlasterConfig.LocalStrings[en-GB].js'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String pat Server Name: MS001 I have tried uninstalling 'old' PageBlaster first and then reinstalling PageBlaster 3.1.6 but it makes no difference. I also tested this on another DNN version 4.5.5 portal and I got the same error. I have emailed you regarding this issue but I have not had a reply which is unusual, I am wondering if my email account is blocking your emails. Please advise. Regards Lynn

Hi Lynn, Sorry, I didn't get your e-mail. This is an issue for people using other languages that had the free module installed before. I'll fix it for you.

Hi John Thank you for the quick response. Yes I did have the free module installed a long time ago - but I have since installed an older 'paid' version of PageBlaster over it without problem. I did uninstall the old version of PageBlaster module ( I tried with and without - remove files 'enabled'). Perhaps I should I have also manually removed all the old PageBlaster files and folders from the site root prior to install - would that have helped? Thanks Lynn

Hi Lynn, Yes, it would have helped to remove the old Snapsis.PageBlaster.config file from the root of the website, but the problem was because of me not updating that config file for the new module. I have corrected the problem in the upgrade process. I updated your config files to point the cache-folder to the DesktopModules/Snapsis/pageBlaster/Cache and the config-folder to DesktopModules/Snapsis/pageBlaster/Config Everything should be working properly on your a2z and driveway sites now.
