Hi John

I would like to create a horizontial dropdown menu which has a small image either side of the parent  ( <>Home<>  <>About<> )

What would you suggest would be best menu suited for this purpose and what is the best way to create this effect?

Thanks

Lynn

Is the image going to be the same on every menu item?

You can modify one of the templates to include that image one each side of the anchor item, or put it inside the anchor if you want the image to also be clickable.

Hi John

The image I am thinking of using is a small left and right arrow either side of each parent link, for decoration only. It is not essential for the arrows to be clickable, but it might be useful if they could be.

You could do this by adding the image html code to a template. The src= attribute is relative from the skin folder, so if you had an image in your skin folder the src attribute would only be the image name.
