No idea how (or if I can) to do this menu

I have a menu I'm trying to pull off (see a "sample" in plain HTML (just using images right now) here: http://dev1.homeip.net/stackableskin/default_960px.html <-- interested in achieving the left hand side menu, make it dynamic to the pages, then upon hover, show the children). I've been messing around with it using the Hover and Tabs, but don't think I'm on board. Any advice, or can this be done? Thanks, Fooberichu

If you already have a static menu that works then it may be easiest to turn it into a template for the Snapsis CSS Menu.
