Hi. I have what is probably a silly question. I am using the Suckerfish menu to create a vertical hover menu. If I have 2 plus levels I can get the level 1 to appear below the level 0 fine. But it overlays the level 0 menu items below rather than placing it in line. Is it possible to make the rest of the menu below move down?

What I want when I hover over page 2 is to display page 2-1
page1
page 2
 page 2-1
page 3
page 4

What I have when I hover over page 2 is
page1
page 2
 page 2-1
page 4

As you can see page 2-1 is overlaying page 3.

I have searched the forum but cannot find any answers. I am sure the answer is really simple any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I think you are describing what is usually referred to as an "accordion" type menu, where the child menus move the other content down when they become visible. Is this what you are referring to?

It is a bit like the accordian style. I had not envisaged it having a fixed height and opening one menu item as a fixed size . I had envisaged each top level menu item having 0 to many sub menu items and when hovering over a top level item it opens up like the accordian to show all the second level items by pushing all the following top level items down the page. At present it leaves the top level items as they are and overlays the second level menu over the top.

Sorry I should have checked further there is a similar menu at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ddaccordionmenu-bullet.htm. The only difference is that this requires a click to expand the sub menu but I had envisaged a hover over

I don't have a sample skin for that type of menu, but I'll work one up over the next few days.
