Help with NavMenu

So here is my sample hierarchy:

  • Home
  • About Us
    • Link 1
    • Link 2
    • Link 3
      • Sub Link 1
      • Sub Link 2
  • Markets
    • Link 1
    • Link 2

So I have 2 menus, 1 on the top only displaying the root levels, and a 2nd menu on ths side. I would like the menu on the side to show the child elements of the current page, ie. If you are on the About Us page, the side menu would display the following:

 

  • Link 1
  • Link 2
  • Link 3

     

    • Sub Link 1
    • Sub Link 2

    But it is displaying the items under Markets also... How can I have it only show child items of the current page?

    To show only the currently active children set Show="WithActiveParent" on the Menu properties.

    Thanks very much, that worked great. Now my last issue seems to be that the .SelectedTab class is applied to all parent elements of the current page. Is there a way to get this to only apply to the currently selected page?

    Peter,

    I believe that link referrs to customizing the Developer Edition of the NavMenu, I only have the one site license. Can this be applied to that license also? Please advise.

    Hy Tyler,
    I just sent you the latest build.
    You'll need to use that and create a template to use the new tokens.

    John,

    I installed your updated DLL, now what do I add to my code to only have the selectedtab css class be applied to the currnet page? My code is as follows:

    Snapsis:NavMenu id="SideMenu" Level="1-5" Type="Hover" OnlyExpandActive="true" ExcludeTabs="Admin,Host" ShowType="WithActiveParent" runat="server" /

    Hi Tyler,

    Sorry, I missed that you had posted back.

    You'll need to use a template type menu Type="Template" instead of Hover and then follow the information in the thread that Peter posted a link to earlier: http://www.snapsis.com/Support/tabid/601/forumid/7/postid/11364/view/topic/Default.aspx

    I don't have an example worked up for that, but maybe Peter would be so kind as to attach his template as an example.
