Hi,

I have a select list for the admin host items with the following settings:

the list shows up in dnn version 455 on my local host, but it doesn't show up in dnn 460 install on the same machine (which is an upgrade of 441), nor does it show up in a 434 (customized) install.

The div container where it suppose to be in is empty.

Nav menu version 3.1.2.0

Any Idea's?

Peter

Hi Peter,
Try restarting the application and see if it comes back. I have seen this issue reported on the DNN forums.

nope that doesn't solve the issue. The surrounding div stays empty.

I haven't run into this issue before. Can you attach your skin or send it to me?

Solved it. The problem is that I forgot to include the Dutch admin/host pagenames:

snapsis:navmenu id="AdminHost" type="SelectList" includetabs="Admin,Host,Beheer,Gastheer" level="0-1" cachetabs="False" recurse="True" runat="server"
Greetings,

Peter

Oh, now that you mention it I do remember that happening to someone before.
Sorry, I didn't think to ask about languages. Thanks for posting back your solution.

OK, that is clear.
For me this solution is OK most of the time (that is if I do "Dutch" skins), but not really workable for a project I am working on right now (it uses 6 languages, including russian and chinese and more to come). What would be ideal is a property called: showAdmin" which renders Admin/Host tabs when set to true or hides them when set to false. I think this would be a great addition to your menu control.
