I have a skin that has three menus.  The first is a vertical tab menu, which populates with all pages except Host and Admin.  The second is a horizontal which only shows a SelectList for Host and Admin, the third is a horizontal Quick Launch type menu of Tabs that only includes Home | Login | Contact Us | Reservations | Language Selector.

I am having a problem finding a way to include the Login / Logout control into this menu, at the moment I have to split it to two menus Home | and Contact Us | etc.  With the standard DNN Login control in the middle, but thisis causing alignment problems.  Is there a way to include include a Login/Out control using the Include = "" list?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mark

Hi Mark,

You could create a page called Login and put a Login control on it. Then it would show up in the menu.  This wouldn't give you the Logout link though.

I don't have a way to include other controls in the menu, but if I did you would still have the alignment problems.  I may be able to help with the alignment problems if you point me to an example.

Hi John

Thanks for the prompt reply. What I am trying to achieve is as shown below. The vertical menu is ok, the problem is with the horizontal menu. You can see this on http://mail.lftmail.com/dnn/bgcc This a work in progress, and very early in the process, but I would welcome any feedback.

The horizontal menu i.e. Home | About Us etc. should appear right aligned on the form. It seems the only way I can do this is to create a table with three cells, the first empty to pad everything over, the second to hold the normal menu options, and the third to hold the Login control.

Home | About Us | Reservations | Login

Home
Golf
Residential
Events
etc.

Hi John, Did you ever look at the site and come up with a way to right align the horizontal menu? I am still having this problem, as menu options appear and disappear based on login, then The alignment all goes wrong when using fixed width fields.

I would welcome any ideas you have.

Thanks
