Hello there,

I am considering buying Snapsis CSS NavMenu, but would like to ask if it's able to display the menu in 3-level, separate instances.

My site will have navigation like this:

(MENU1) Root1 | Root2 | Root3 | Root4 |Root5 .... (Root Level)

some content .....

(MENU2) Root2Sub1 | Root2Sub2 | Root2Sub3 ..... (Level 1 of selected Root)

some content ...

(MENU3) Root2Sub2Page1 | Root2Sub2Page2 | Roo2Sub2Page3 ... (Level 2 of selected Level 1)

I have attached a sample in JPG...

Would I be able to customize the CSS of the "selected" item at all level?

Looking forward to hearing from you! The CSSMenu looks very promising :)

Thank you!

Hi Maggie,

Yes that is possible with the Snapsis CSS NavMenu. You can place as many instances as you want on a page and define their properties and css seperately.  There is a propert ycalled ShowType that you can set to WithActiveParentOnly that would probably be what you want in this case. You can also set each one to start and end at whatever level you want (for the root level), and set IncludeTabs and/or ExcludeTabs to filter on just the tabs you want to show in each instance.

The following site has 5 instances of the menu and is close to what you are wanting to do I believe. It has vertical menus for level two and three (three is on the right), but you could easily make those horizotal instances.

As you can see, the current tab selected is District Information > Advisory committes > FAC, which are all styled seperately as selected.

Thank you for your reply!

That's exactly what I'm after :)
