Hi im using the SilverTabsHover template for my site, and noticed the following bug on Firefox,

You can see this bug on the demo

http://demo.snapsis.com/Templates/SilverTabHover/tabid/60/Default.aspx

When you hover over an item, if you hover before the text, the background changes to the hover part but the textpart does not change, when you hover over the text part the whole background changes.

This doesnt hoppen in IE, no matter where you hover,  the background images changes accordingly.

Is there any way to fix this bug - because it is very annoying and make the menu appear less professional

I'll see if I can figure out a way to fix that quirk.
You probably realize this, but one thing you can do to minimize the affect is to make the rounded part of the tab smaller (not so wide).

It may require more JS to trigger the Anchor (right part) onmouseover of the LI (left part) when FF is being used.
There is already JS in that sample to make hover happen on an LI element in IE, so maybe you can adjust it to cover the quirk for FireFox.

Hi thanks, I have actually customized the silvertabhover template to use overlapped images using negative margins and paddings solely with the css, with hard coded css tags for the first and last menu item, so not much  mucking about with the template for me.

I cant change the rounded tab image to make it smaller, because it has to be large for the effect that i want

Ill have a go at making a javasript that will emulate the IE one, and if i find a solution ill post it here

You can see the overlapped images menu here

Wow! Excellent job on the overlapping tabs. Making a template like that is actually on my list of things to do so I hope you can share. I would even be willing to pay you for the template. I see where it is important to get rid of that last nagging bug so I'll give it a good look in the 24 hours.
