I am helping a client with a highly customized version of DNN at the moment.  We are trying to get the PageBlaster v3 module to work on it.  It appears that replace rules and compression might be working, but not the CSS Merge.  This site has a custom URL rewrite provider that I think might be causing this step to be broken.  What in the Http pipeline might cause PageBlaster to not do this?

I have PageBlaster as the first item in the HttpModules, and the standard httphandlers are in place.

*BUMP*

Okay... What might be able to prevent the CSS merge from automatically taking place? I do not have any exclude rules for CSS files at all. But I do have the Static File Handler enabled, and wild card enabled on the server.

Only CSS Files in the Head section are merged.
Nothing else should stop CSSMerge unless you specifically exclude it in the config file.

If you turn on trace debugging it may show why CSS files are being excluded.

The trace debug already appears to be enabled. Where do we look for the debug information?

The file-path points to the debug file. if it is file-path="/Pageblaster.trace.webinfo" then it should be that filename in the root of your site.
