Hello Pageblasters,

When I generate a static file, a part of the content is not being displayed correctly.

It has to be like this:

Home | Website proposal | Contact | About | Support

but it becomes like this:

Home | Website proposal | Contact | About | Support

So I like to ged rid of the " Â" before I can use Pageblaster to generate static files.
Seems like some bug to me. I am testing Pageblaster as a full version on 1 PC.
I would like to buy multiple licenses if it works correctly for me.

Looking forward to a reply from Support.

Regards, Paco

Solved the problem by taking away the
Each " " generated a "Â"

Have another question regarding static file.
If I clear the cache or press Ctrl F5 the static file does not disappear or get's refreshed.
In what way can the static file be updated then?

Further, when I make changes to the virtual path after the first time it is not being saved.
I have to delete the module form the page and add it again. After that fill in the new virtual path and then it makes the changes.
How is this possible? Does it have anything to do with the fact that it is an evaluation version?

Regards, Paco

Hi Paco,
That character for nbsp; comes from the encoding not being UTF-8. PageBlaster sets the encoding to UTF-8, but you may be using a different encoding in your web.config.

You're right, the static file does not get replaced on CTRL+F5 because it is not really a cache file. Because DNN has virtual portals the file needs to stay there after it is created unless it is specifically deleted by the host/owner of the whole website.

The virtual-path cannot be changed in the evaluation/community edition unless you have the IP Address set in the license key. If you do have that set, then there may be a problem in the code if you cannot change it. I'll test this out.
