After installing Page Blaster 3.3.2 community edition, I've noticed a strange behavior.  I had the SynchronizeFileSystem task scheduled to run once an hour.  When it would run, the following events would be registered, and the folder permissions would disappear!  And, things would stop working, most noticably my logo would disappear.  So I'd go back into the File manager, re-establish permissions, reset the logo, etc. Only for it to happen again the next time the SynchronizeFileSystem task ran again.

Is there *any* way this could be related to PageBlaster?  I've NEVER had this problem prior to installing it...

No, PageBlaster does not change any permissions, so they should not be related.

The error looks like it ran into a bad path when doing the sync, so I would check your folder & file names to see if one has weird characters.

John,
First and foremost, an apology. I doesn't seem that this was at all related to PageBlaster; it was my (incorrect) knee-jerk reaction to assume that it was. As it turns out, I found another thread somewhere on some other site which helped me understand that it was some backup software on the server which apparently was locking folders and causing the scheduled file synch task to screw up. I had forgotton that the software was new (and since it wasn't installed as part of DNN, per se) didn't even cross my mind that it would be the cause. I've since turned off the scheduled file synch task, and use manual sync, and no more problems...
