Hi there,

Suppose that you have the "home" page cached for a non logged user. Then, on another machine, you enter as host and change a text on a "text/html" module. If you come back to the first machine and you visit the "home" again, you will see the new content without the need to press Ctrl+F5 or waiting, just visiting the page.   Which is great!, you allways will see the current content.

On other modules, like Blogs, the situation is not the same. You can't see the new content. You should press Ctl+F5 or wait until the cache expires.

I know you can handle this issue not caching the page or module. But, how can I change those modules or PB to detect changes? to work as the Text/Html?

Any thoughs?

Thanks !!!

If the module is updated on a different tab/page then the one that it is viewed on then this will happen.  The tab/page where a post back for the update is done will clear the PageBlaster cache, but there is no way to know what other pages need to have their cache cleared.  What you can do is set the cache to a lower interval time and the cache will clear on its own, or you can go to the page and do the hard refresh if you want it to be cleared immediately.

Yes, exactly.

Could you please tell me which is the best option to delete the cache of a special page?
Should I only delete the physical files or there is a best way to do that?

Thanks!

Hi Leandro,
If you delete the physical files it will also clear the memory cache.

You can also delete a specific page cache by using the PageBlaster configuration UI on that page.
