Do you have a fix for this?

Just sent an updated version off to you Mariette.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
John

Thanks, it is installed. I found another exception that needs to be added. If you browse the forums as unauthenticated user and click on "Active Topics" it shows you the topics since yesterday. If you choose another value from the dropdown list it flips back to 'Yesterday'. Easiest way to fix this is to add 'activetopics' to the exclusion list.

In addition to this you may want to add the exclusion only to caching. The problem is not caused by compression.

I can't reproduce this on changing the active posts time drop-down.

It should automatically exclude that from caching sice it is a POST request type.

Does it happen for you on my forums here?

Yes, it does happen also on your forums. You have to be logged out to see it happening.

I was logged out when I tested it.
What is your setting on your browser for checking new versions of Pages?
Mine is set to automatic.

oops, sorry. I just checked my setting and it was set on "every visit to page". I had been testing that the other day and forgot to turn it off.

You're right, if it is set to "Automatic" (default) then it will produce the behaviour you describe.
I'll look at this closer, but your solution to exclude it is good.
