John,

This is the continuation thread from the support email I sent AF.

If you have the TopPosts on a page that is not being posted to, then it will stay cached and only show the same information until the cache expires. This is by design.
I have mine on the same page as the forums and it gets update, because posts are made to that page.

If you want a specific page not to cache and show your updates immediately you can just exclude it from caching though.

My advice is that you do not want a dynamic page like this as your home page.  When a user first gets to your site they should get the page as fast as possible, then give them enticing reasons to go and take a look at more dynamically updated pages.

^I would disagree with the last statement for the fact that my users crucified me the last time I took top posts off the home page haha.

The timestamp is the only thing it effects. The posts are correct. Is there a way to have it ignore that module?

No, in PageBlaster You can only exclude the whole page, not individual modules.

Your repeat visitors need to learn about bookmarks [joking]

Ha yeah but 1000 posts a day, I can't make them all do it.

There wasn't a problem until recently, maybe I should go back to an earlier version of pB?

You could try clearing your disk cache completely and uploading the pageblaster dll again, but my best advice is to just exclude the page if it is giving you trouble.
