It looks like the cached copy of a page does not get refreshed when the Page Settings are updated. This I believe is needed because if the skin, container, parent page or Hidden flag are changed in Page Settings the appearance of the page (for example its look & feel or just the position of the page in navigation menus) may change.

Also, if an update is made to Site Settings this may invalidate all cached pages, for example if the site skin or container is changed.

Are there any plans to update PageBlaster to refresh the cache on these events?

Anytime you are logged in and submit a POST back to the server, it should refresh the cache for the page you are on.
As for the Site Settings and refreshing all the pages in the cache, you would need to delete the cached pages on disk manually, and then restart the application to clear the memory.

The changes will also show up as the page expires from cache based on the times you set for memory and disk cache intervals.

If you ever want to force a refresh for a page from the browser you can hold CTRL and refresh the browser (CTRL + F5 in IE).

The commercial version of PageBlaster Pro for DNN will give you even better control. I'm hoping to have it out this week.

I am not sure what submitting a POST back to the server means!

Here is what I have observed ... please tell me if you can see why this is happening and what the solution is:

I had a page where a specific skin was set in the Page Settings (call this skin "B"). This skin was different from the skin set in the Site Settings (call this skin "A"). At this point everything was working as expected - Skin B appeared on the page for logged in and unauthenticated users.

Now I changed the skin in the page settings to "None Specified" and clicked Update. This should mean that Skin A appeared on the page for logged in and unauthenticated users. However, skin A only appears for logged in users; unauthenticated users continue to see skin B. When an unauthenticated user presses Ctrl-F5 it makes no difference - they continue to see skin B.

Here's the really strange part - the above only happens with IE 7. If the unauthenticated user uses Firefox, they see skin A after I change the page settings.
