| Since I installed page blaster I am having a memory shortage every day. I found that the Windows/Temp directory is getting extremely large and I have to delete files on a daily basis. Is there a reason for this or is this because page blaster. The files are Arcxxx.tmp | | | |

| PageBlaster does not put files in the windows temp folder unless you have configured the cach-folder attribute in Snapsis.PageBlaster.config to use that folder.
When it creates a cachefile the extension will be .webinfo so I am pretty sure that it is not PageBlaster making those temp files.
To limit the amount of memory used by PageBlaster you can set the memory-size-limit attribute in Snapsis.PageBlaster.config, it is set to 25MB by default which will hold on average of 200 pages and probably a lot more with compression, so you should not have to use more than 25MB of memory. | | | |

| Since install IIS 6.0 has multiple dumps per day. This is what is creating the tmp files. Has anyone else experience dumps due to this application. I also receive frequent: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. errors since installing page blaster. | | | |

| I'm pretty sure that is not PageBlaster causing those temp files or errors, but my recommendation would be that you disable it for a day or so and see if the problems go away.
What version of PageBlaster are you using? | | | |

In Web.config comment out the PageBlaster line in HttpModules Section.

| Do you have errors in the Windows Server Event Log that are from the website using PageBlaster?
Also, after you commented out the PageBlaster entry and saved it restarted your application, so you may want to give it a little longer to see if the problem comes back.
Where do you see the "collection was modified" errors? In the Windows Event log, the DNN log viewer or directly on the screen?
If you can get more of the information about the error, then maybe we can narrow it down.

| | The collection error is on multip sites and it shows on the page, directly on screen. No DNN visible. The Windows viewer shows faulting application w3wp.exe error. I am giving it till tomorrow and see if shows anything. | | | |

If you can get more of the information about the error, then maybe we can narrow it down. If it is in the Windows Event Log, copy and paste the complete error. If it shows on the screen for the site, then there should be more details also.
If you want, I can give you a debug version that will give more details if the errors are happening in the PageBlaster code. | | | |

| | I cleared the event log yesterday because it was getting to big. When I get the next error I will paste it in this forum. The errors that are occuring are .Net 2.x errors. The whole w3wp.exe thread is failing. But it only does it when using Page Blaster. | | | |

Just to make sure. Do you have PageBlaster as the first entry in the HttpModules setcion of web.config? Before UrlRewrite, etc.
Now that is interesting. I googled for this error and found a thread where Mariette had experienced it (before there was a PageBlaster), and here she is helping with this post before I can even respond.

That error is happening in the TabController after being called from UrlRewrite. PageBlaster does not change that collection, but I am wondering why that collection is even modified at all.
What version of DNN is this? Does that link to sexcriminals.com really need the tabid on the end? | | | |
