Hey John

How would I exclude just a file extension? I've got the repository module in a number of places across a few portals and it would be nice to be able to just exclude the file extensions across the board instead of having to exclude the various instances of the Repository. I tried to exclude a path pattern = "\.zip" exclude="All"" but it didn't work.

Hi Mike,

PageBlaster only works on the text/html content type, so .zip files should not be affected if the content type in the response is set correctly.

If you send me a link or describe more specifically what is not working I may be able to help you exclude it more globally.

I've turned it off for now until I have some time to investigate further but I was getting complaints that files downloaded from the main page of http://dnn.gmss.org were 0 byte files. I had setup an exclude for the tabid but that didn't seem to make a difference. I'm guessing that it's because I'm using Scott McCulloch's FriendlyURLs so the tabid doesn't show up.

I've got three portals running off the same DNN install (http://dnn.gmss.org, http://www.gmss.org, and http://www.sakuragfx.com) and all have multiple instances of the Repository. I only really admin http://dnn.gmss.org and am looking for an easy way to try to exclude the downloadable .zip files from the Repository installs if an admin from another puts the Repository on another page and I don't know about it. Similiar I guess to how the I was able to fix the image files for the Repository using MakeThumbnail\.aspx exclude="All"

I have this problem too. Is there a solution?
