I would appreciate your help!!
I downloaded the free page blaster and saved it to my DNN site, but got the following error:

FailureDid not find any .dnn file ???
FailureExceptionSystem.Exception: File load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.ReadZipStream() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Am I doing something wrong??

Hi, You should *not* upload the free version through the DNN Module installer. There are instructions for installing in the ReadMe.txt file.

Great, thanks for that.
Step 1 I completed no problem, step 2 will be fine, hwever step 3 I am not sure on. Do I make the changes in step 3 to the config file (as per step 2) before I copy the config file to the root of my site? Am I understanding this correctly?
If so can you please show me exactly where to put it in the config file + am I simply adding to or changing what is now in the config file?

Thanks John

I think I worked it Out John.
I ftp the Snapsis.PageBlaster.config file to the root of my site. I also added the line as per step 3 to my web config file & ftp'd it to my site. Is this correct?
It seems to of made a huge difference. The site is much quicker to open now!!
Does the page blaster help speed things up when doing things like editing the page & updating?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,
Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. Glad you got it figured out though.
No, the free version of PageBlaster does not cache logged in users. This is becuase the free version does not "know" about DNN or it's users, it works on any ASP.Net site.
To cache authenticated users the module needs to have a way to communicate directly with the application and the PageBlaster DNN module does that.

However, even though this is possible with the paid DNN module version, I would not recommend caching authenticated users. DNN 4.4.1 takes care of most of the problems with slow updates.

Hi John !

How can I Use page blaster with SSL Redirect enabled ?

When PageBlaster caching and SSLRedirect are enabled together at the same time, the secured page doesn't show anything

Thanks for your response

Best Regards !

PageBlaster automatically excludes 301 & 302 redirects, so I'm not sure why it would miss this one.

You may have to disable the page by putting an exclude pattern in the config file.

If you can point me to an example I can give you a better answer with an example.

Hi

Thanks for your response

I already try to exclude the tab but ...

If I want to exclude the tab containing these words inside it's URL for example

"/PageName/tabid/2448/Default.aspx"

Thanks a lot

Best regards
