Hi John, im trying to install PageBlaster v2.2.4 to my dnn instance (v4.5.1) hosted at Godaddy (medium trust, manual installation at root level),

I followed instructions to install the blaster, with no succes. In the past i had succesfully installed previous versions, but this version gives security exceptions.

I can simulate problem if you would like to take a look.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I would like to take a look. If you can post the error that may be enough. If I can't figure it out from there then I'll send you a debug version.

Do either of you have the trace level in the config file set to something other than "None"?

That is the only thing I can think of that might be a problem in Medium Trust.

I'll setup to debug in medium trust and see if that is it. Thanks for the feedback.

This turns out to be a problem with the tracig in the code, even if you do not have it turned on.

I can send you a version without the tracing if you need it to run in medium trust.
Just reply directly to the notification of this post, or use the form from my profile.

Hi there,

We're having the same problem and tried to use the dll provided. Now we have a new error:

An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'Snapsis.HttpModules.PageBlaster' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. (d:\hxxxxxweb.config line 64)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

My bad, was uploading the dll in 'notso'binary mode... working now! thanks
