Dear John May I ask you two questions. First I've seen that in the Snapsis Pageblaster 2.2.4 there is one .dll file. Snapsis.HttpModules.PageBlaster In the versions before 2.2.4 there were two .dll files Snapsis.HttpModules.PageBlaster Snapsis.ReplacementEngine.dll Can you explaine why? Second Version 2.1.3 I've seen that only by a few pages the html code was compressed... Is this normal?

Hi Gilbert, The newest version has had the Replacement Engine built in to the main DLL. I'm not sure what you mean on the second question, but that is an old version where now I have made the configuration and automatic internal processing handle things better.

Hi John, Take a look at this website http://www.welzijn-op-school.net and look at the code of a few pages... Then you'll see that the white spaces of the html code is not removed...

Gilbert, Whitespace removal does not add that much increase in performance, compression does!

Hi Gilbert, Sorry I must have missed this post earlier. I took a look at your site and I do see that whitespace is not removed, but PageBlaster is working. It is very fast. As Mariette said, compression is all you really need. It is not only removing whitespace before sending but also making the overall file even smaller. If you reall want whitespace removal (which has the potential to mess up some pages), then you can enable it in the config file with the whitespace removal rule.
