John,

Are there spaces or pages where pageblaster won't run?

I have pageblaster adding custom style sheets to my portal.   However, if I view the login page via the normal skin object, these style sheets are not being added.

As a reminder - I have a custom build of pageblaster that isn't doing the expiration checks due to server load.  It is also not running per-page replacements.

If a page is displayed with a POST to the server then PageBlaster will be automatically excluded for compression and caching.  I need to check if somehow Replacements are also being excluded which is not intended.

What would you suggest then for portal wide but not site wide head content? I don't want to set in the tabs setting for every page.  DNN reallly needs a head tags field in the site settings.

PageBlaster should be able to help you do this, but if you wanted to, you could put some code in your skin that adds CSS links to the head section.

Here is an example:

I use that (and quote the blog entry) quite a bit. Free text would be nicer however so one could write JS code and attach other head tags without the cumbersome .net method.

BTW, would/could you post a follow up that would remove portal and default.css? With the admin.css additional I find next to no reason for these files. They just take up request time on my sites.
