PB module invisible in local install

I upgraded to the paid version of PageBlaster after reading this thread about the problems migrating from a live server to a local host when the DNN app is located in a folder of the live website (the issue is that images do not appear on the local install due to the path for images being written as /folder-name/Portals/0 and not /Portals/0/ , and this thread
discussed a solution where Pageblaster removes this extra folder from the output).

However I am having some basic problems to get PageBlaster Module to just appear in a page, steps I took are detailed below:

• sucessfully upgraded PB in my local environemnt (windows XP, DNN v4.5.5),
• created a new page,
• while logged in as Host I installed the Pageblaster module on the page but the module is completely empty (I gave the page 'Admin' only rights).
• As my containers use the DropDown Actions I then selected 'Edit' from the PB contatiner's drop down but the Pageblaster container was still empty.
• Note as well that (as was also the case before upgraded to the paid version of PB) whenever I visit a page on my local DNN environemnt I am prompted multiple times with an "Authentication Required" box which requests a user id and password, I just hit 'cancel' each time I prompted in this way and (eventually) the page comes up but without any CSS styling or images that reside within the DNN app (as these resources have '/folder-name/' in the URL).

I also installed the PB module on a page that can be viewed by unauthenticated visitors and I still could not see the PB module.

Can you advise how the steps I need to take to get PB working in this environment?

I'm sorry I missed this post and didn't respond sooner.

I have never experienced what you are describing, but it may be possible that the container for the modules on that page is having some affect on the module showing.

It does not show anything in normal "View" mode, but the container should still show.  Try changing the container.  You may also be in "View" or "Design" mode which can be changed from the control panel at the top of the page.

Oh, one other thing that has got me in the past. When you use the Drop-Down actions, there is an arrow image to the right of the drop-down that needs to be clicked on after you select an item from the list.  Otherwise the Edit option will be selected, but the module will not change to edit mode.
