Error when loading

DNN 4.05.05, hosting at web4life.  Installed config on root and dll in bin directory and added to web.config as per instructions.  Using the free version.

Here's the error:

Could not load file or assembly 'Snapsis.HttpModules.PageBlaster' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. (D:\hosting\member\lynx\lmol\web.config line 55)

I double checked and the dll is in the bin directory.

That is strange.  I had this same type of error show up on my NavMenu module.  They are compiled using ASP.Net 1.1, but apparently those have stopped working in a 2.0 environment.  The strange part is that they have worked for the last two years in those environments.
