Hi!

I try to replace url: http://www.solanje-kzs.com/%C5%A0olanje/tabid/55/Default.aspx with http://www.solanje-kzs.com/solanje.aspx , but I didn't have any success.

I have an url with east europe character "š" which is interprated as "%C5%A0".  How can I do it? I have PageBlaster pro.

Regards,

Igor

Hi Igor,

Thanks for purchasing.

For a replacement rule you should be able to do it like this:

Search for:  http://www.solanje-kzs.com/.*?/tabid/55/Default\.aspx

Replace With:  http://www.solanje-kzs.com/solanje.aspx

That wildcard in the middle should help it "look over" the extended characters.

Let me know if you need to match it more specifically than that.

Thanks for answer!
but doesn't work. I do like this:
1. create a virtual path: /solanje.aspx
2. replacement - page ruls, Search For:
-http://www.solanje-kzs.com/.*?/tabid/55/Default\.aspx (is the last slash correct "\" ?)
or
-http://www.solanje-kzs.com/.*?/tabid/55/Default.aspx
Replace With: http://www.solanje-kzs.com/solanje.aspx

I get strange behavior (I don't have this page in my menu any more if I click it) and in status bar I get:
http://www.solanje-kzs.com/%C5%A0olanje/tabid/55/Default.aspx

Any help?

Regards,
Igor

Maybe it is corrupting the link. I may need to see the actual page to figure out what is happening.
I'll also try and see if I can create a page with that name in my test environment. Are you using the Solpart menu?

That last slash is an escape that says look for a literal period instead of the regex period which can mean any character. It's not really needed.
