So, I have installed the module properly, and I can see that it is caching data to disk, which is what I prefer considering the amount of available memory I have... however; I can see no performance gains at all.. As a matter of fact, a test that I ran where I timed the page loads after the .net process was started... indicated that the Snapsis Pageblaster module was actually slower than without it. On average... it wa actually 5 sec slower for page load. I obviously already had issues with page load being slow... (my provider sucks), but I was hoping this module would solve all my problems.... after all... loading static pages from disk should be much faster.. .right? Maybe I am doing something wrong. I don't have any fancy URL rewrites going on... just using it for caching... Can someone let me know if the default install is all I need to make this work properly? Thank you, Chris |
