Updating 2.2.4 to 3.1.7

I am worried about the upgrade. I have seen that some people have problems with the modified web.config file when they add the 3.1.7 module. What do I ned to do to make this work righ tthe first time?

The one problem was when the core compression module had already been commented out in the web.config To avoid that problem, remove the core compression module from the web.config completely and if you have Snapsis.PageBlaster.config in your root folder move it to another location, and then add any of your changes to the new Snapsis.PageBlaster.config after install.

The simple solution for me was to FTP a copy of the web.config file from before I tried 2.2.4, then do the update. I don't understand everything that PB can do, and really don't need to, it has made a difference with the default settings. Very noticable and measurable. Now my home page (www.northstarcamaroclub.net) is running .6 to .7 seconds on selfseo.com, and it used to run 3-4 seconds! Thanks!
